Our mission is infectious disease service with outpatient clinic, hospital service and clinical studies:

Inpatient assessment and treatment of infectious diseases and complex/unclear infectious disease issues, Outpatient presentation and care of patients in special outpatient clinics, Consultative care of patients in all areas and at both locations of the LMU Hospital, Specialized infectious disease diagnostics in outpatient and inpatient settings, Telephone advice also for external doctors in collegial discussions on specific cases or general infectious disease questions, Discussion of complex infectious disease cases, including those from outside the LMU Clinic, as part of the weekly infection colloquium with advice on and planning of diagnostics, therapy and management over time.

Advice on infectious disease post-exposure prophylaxis after contact via the central emergency room at both locations with 24-hour availability.
